I wish you all good luck with your researches in 2010. Let us hope that we all manage to break through some of those stubborn brick walls that we all encounter.

The genealogical web pages at Ozigen.com have been updated today, Sunday, 7 February 2010. Thanks to the help of a number of different researchers, there are quite a few corrections and additions to the records. There are also some new photographs.

Welcome to Fellow Researchers

I began my Family Tree researches back in 1979 when a cousin I had never heard of wrote to me seeking information and providing a small family tree I had not thought about before. That got me started.

About that same time I bought my first computer, a 16k Tandy TRS-80. I decided to write a program to store my family tree data and print my charts and reports. This became a program called Kindred that was used by other early computer genealogists here in Australia in the 1980s and 1990s.

Then I found The Master Genealogist program and decided it did everything I wanted and let me spend more time on researching rather than programming. The later release of Second Site also cut down on the work involved in creating web sites to share my information with other researchers.

I now maintain three web sites:

Ozigen.com	This is my main web site and currently contains records for some 23,000 people linked into my Family Tree.
Mote families in the UK	This site contains the results of my researching the Mote name in the UK. It includes all Mote family trees I have collected trying to find links to my own Mote tree.
Aspland families in the UK	The Aspland family is my maternal family tree. This site covers a number of large Aspland trees that I and other Aspland researchers have been trying to link up.

If you find any people of interest in any of the web sites and you have additional information you wish to share, please email me. Corrections are also welcomed.
